GOD WANTS HUMAN SALVATION, THERE IS THE CHRISTIAN MISSION.
1. In Mt, this text places Jesus in the center. On the one hand shows the ferocity of evil, the destruction of the demon possessed person and fear in people. These things want to signal the reality of the world without God, where only illusion, fantasies, mental illnesses and violence dominate. The presence of Jesus Christ is the end of the "demonic reign" and the beginning of a new humanity.
2. The "demons" claim that the Son of God came before the time to torment them. It is the liberating action of Jesus. "Before the time" means: before the final defeat, before the death of Jesus. With the presence of Jesus, the world ceases to be a "place of demons", an environment of war, of illusions, and becomes a place of peace, truth, love and life. Of course, the place of the Lord's dominion must be one's life. When each person, decidedly, decides to be a sanctuary of God, it becomes, for the world, the continuity of the victory.
3. The drowning of the swine does not want to be attached to the pigs themselves, but to the destruction of the demons. It is a way of saying that evil has been destroyed. Faced with this, with such power over evil, Jesus will not be well seen in an absolutely capitalist environment, involved only with profit. Many did not want Jesus, even after they had seen the miracle, because there was an economic issue at stake. A world dominated by demons was preferable. Unfortunately it still remains that way. Everything circulates around the economic factor, which determines all social life, as if it were the most important thing. In view of the economy, everything is disposable.
4. How good it would be if the house of disciple was the place of God's presence; if each person were truly converted; if each person were an authentic sanctuary of the Most High. It is important to remember that where Jesus Christ is there evil can not be established. Each baptized and baptized is a temple of God. You are, therefore, the place of the encounter with God, the saving possibility for those who come to you. Therefore, do not give the economy the supreme status in your existence. You only have this life, this time in the world, this your being that advances every moment. Do not waste time, discover the highest values ​​of dignity of your being, deepen your awareness of Son of God, discover, more and more, the beauty of being a gift.
