God waits for us

God waits for us
What is the kingdom of God? It is God Himself working in us, in creation and in history, overcoming evil and giving us the grace of salvation. Such action of God respects the slowness of our development 1; It also respects the legitimate process of our freedom, limited and involved in many things that keep us from being absolutely YES to God's designs. God's action begins in simplicity, insignificantly and obscurely in the likeness of a mustard seed and yeast in flour, but which tends to have a grand, qualitatively wonderful future. Certainly, the quantitative aspect is not discarded, since God's Word must reach everyone worldwide, but the main emphasis is placed on quality, the human growth of their dignity and their life of communion with God.
2. You cannot measure God's action. He acts in imperceptible silence. This is a clear sign that the disciple must absolutely trust God, who never fails, never gives up, and never misses. The disciple is certain that God himself is his future and all will work for the good of all, thanks to the power of the Lord. God does not give up acting in the history or life of every child, won at the price of BLOOD. The disciple is a conquest of God through our Lord Jesus Christ (1Cor 6,20).
3. The Kingdom is Christ himself present in the history and life of each. He came to us, died for us, and rose for us. In addition, he chose twelve of his disciples, appointed them apostles, and sent them all over the world (Matt. 28:19). In the power of the Holy Spirit, the vital principle of the Church, the Kingdom of God, from an almost insignificant core, extends throughout the world, driven by God's election, preparation, sending, strength, and future. This Kingdom has come to us. Today we are part of this Kingdom of God through faith and baptism. Although it does not stop here, it must move forward, for others will participate in this Kingdom because of God and through our response to the will of our God and Lord. Of God's Kingdom, we are also responsible.
4. God's Kingdom is also visible in our spiritual growth. Each day as we advance in God's grace, when we put love and truth above all, when we settle for life through a deep life of faith, we are thus allowing the Kingdom to grow in us. Moreover, when we are humble, fraternal, courageous in combat, supportive of others, persevering in prayer and vocation, confident in the power of God and full of hope for their future, we also reveal the Kingdom of God. Moreover, when we become a gift from God to those most in need of food, knowledge, and testimony of life, we also allow the Kingdom of God to be visible.
A strong and affectionate hug.
Father José Erinaldo
