WE PRAY FOR THE WORLD'S CONVERSION AND PEACE

WE PRAY FOR THE WORLD'S CONVERSION AND PEACE
In Jesus' speech, the key phrase was "Kingdom of heaven" or of God. Such a kingdom being Himself present in the history of mankind; even more, the Kingdom being the practice of truth, justice, mercy, solidarity, meekness and peace. The Kingdom as the most authentic experience of the very reality of Jesus, for He is the Truth, the Life, the greatest and most beautiful definition of love, as OBLATIVITY (self-surrender), understanding in person, mercy in action, the builder of peace by surrendering oneself to the will of the Father. Such characteristics indicate what he himself wants from his disciples. For this, it is necessary to CONVERSION, a true change of mind: to stop thinking like the world and to embrace, decisively, the thinking of God; abandon the desire for power of darkness and become a desire for service for the good of others; destroy personal selfishness and surrender to the obedience needed to build a new human being.
3. Jesus reveals Himself to be the presence of the Kingdom of God Himself through His teachings, His testimony, and His liberating actions: He heals all manner of sickness and casts out demons. In fact, He reveals Himself as having dominion over man, the laws of nature, and evil. In his hands the wounded man finds comfort and true deliverance; your whole being is restored. Through him, that pagan people, who “lay in darkness,” an expression much stronger than that quoted in Is 8: 23b-9: 1, can find relief, security, liberation, and meaning in their existence. Jesus was not there simply as a descendant of David, restorer of Israel's dynastic dreams, but as the Son of God, the merciful face of the Father, working for the transformation of all, freeing them from physical and spiritual evils. This was a people far from the aims of the mighty, for it was in the course of the caravans and armies, and was crushed by all, and it served no purpose. Jesus really saw him. The Kingdom of God has come to him. By repenting all sins, He shows intimacy with Christ and acceptance of God's plan.
4. Everything in the life of Jesus is a surrender of Himself, so that humanity may reach the goal dear to the Father: communion with him. The same must be done by his disciples. Hence the need for detachment, total detachment, the desire to do only good, to be only of God, to be available without measure, to be willing to serve simply for the sake of salvation for all.
A strong and affectionate hug.
Father José Erinaldo
