At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: 25 31 "When the Son of Man returns in his glory and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.
All the nations will gather before him and he will separate one from the other, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
Then the King will say to those on the right: 'Come, blessed of my Father, take possession of the Kingdom which has been prepared for you since the creation of the world,
for I was hungry and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave me a drink; I was a pilgrim and you welcomed me;
naked and you dressed me; sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to me. '
The righteous will ask him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, thirsty and feed you?
When did we see you as a pilgrim and welcome you, naked and dress you?
When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you? '
The King will answer, 'Truly I say to you, every time you did this to one of my little brothers, you did it to me.'
He will then turn to those on his left and say to them: 'Depart from me, you curses! Go to the eternal fire destined for the devil and his angels.
For I was hungry and you did not give me food; I was thirsty and you gave me no drink;
I was a pilgrim and you did not welcome me; naked and you did not dress me; sick and in prison and you did not visit me '.
They will also ask you, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, thirsty, pilgrim, naked, sick, or in prison and did we not help you?'
And he will answer, 'Truly I say to you, whenever you failed to do this to one of these little ones, it was to me that you failed to do it.'
And these will go to eternal punishment, and the righteous to eternal life "
