OPEN OUR HEART TO THE SAVIOR
The growth of the Kingdom is not simply a quantitative fact, but of the whole person in his inner life. It is a continuous path of conversion. It is taking steps towards Christ, it is configuring oneself with Him at every moment. The Church is much more a leafy tree in its spiritual quality than in its quantitative reality. Both in the universality of the Church and in the individuality of each of its members, the most important is the configuration of the Risen Jesus.
The Word was not afraid to mix with the human being, becoming one too. Then he was not afraid to speak to sinners, eat with them and be identified with the poor. He was leaven in the middle of the dough, a reality that cannot be ruled out by those who want to live true discipleship, an authentic Christian life. Whoever develops a certain spirituality of distancing himself from sinners, in order not to be contaminated, is following his own dictates of arrogance. Let us not confuse separation from sinners with a desire to live absolutely for Christ in contemplation. One is pride, the other is called a humble and orational missionary. The important thing is that I can make your life a possibility of salvation for the other.
