THINKING OF JESUS CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD!!!
At that time, 27Jesus left with his disciples for the villages of Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked the disciples: "Who do men say that I am?" 28They replied: “Some say that you are John the Baptist; others, that you are Elijah; still others that you are one of the prophets”. 29Then he asked, "And you, who do you say that I am?" Peter replied, "You are the Messiah." 30Jesus sternly forbade them to tell anyone about him. 31Then he began to teach them, saying that the Son of Man must suffer greatly, be rejected by the elders, the high priests, and the doctors of the law; he was to be killed and resurrected after three days. 32He said this openly. So Peter took Jesus aside and began to rebuke him. 33Jesus turned, looked at the disciples, and rebuked Peter, saying: “Get away from me, Satan! You do not think like God, but like men”. 34Then he called the crowd with his disciples and said: “If anyone wants to follow me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow me. 35For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life because of me and the Gospel will save it”. ANNOUNCEMENT – THE ANGEL ANNOUNCES MARY THAT SHE WILL BE MOTHER OF THE SON OF GOD – THE YES… We contemplate the annunciation of the angel Gabriel to Our Lady and the incarnation of the Word of God in her womb. “Here is the servant of the Lord, let it be done to me according to your word” – here we see in Mary selflessness, humility, love for God and self-giving. Meditation: Today the Lord calls us to say yes to Jesus; born in our heart in our life, give meaning to our earthly life and embrace God's plan for our salvation.
