Jesus Christ is the faithful witness, the first to rise from the dead, the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Jesus, who loves us, who by his blood has freed us from our sins 6and who has made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him the glory and power in eternity. Amen. 7Look! He comes with the clouds, and all eyes will see him, even those who pierced him. Every tribe on earth will beat their chests because of him. Yes, Amen! 8“I am the Alpha and the Omega”, says the Lord God, “the one who is, who was, and who comes, the Almighty”. Blessed is he that cometh, / that cometh in the name of the Lord, / and the Kingdom that cometh be blessed, / to him that cometh and his kingdom, praise! (Mk 11.9s) – R. “I kept insisting on the night vision, and behold, among the clouds of heaven one came like a son of man, approaching the ancient of many days, and he was brought before him. 14Power, glory, and kingship were given him, and all peoples, nations, and tongues served him: his power is an everlasting power that shall not be taken from him, and his kingdom a kingdom that shall not dissolve.” Jesus replied: “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my guards would fight for me not to be handed over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from here”. 37Pilate said to Jesus, "Are you a king then?" Jesus replied: “You say this: I am king. I was born and came into the world for this: to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice”. I give you a new commandment: Love one another. As I loved you, may you love one another.” Glory be to you Lord.
