Bem-aventurados os mansos, porque eles herdarão a terra; Bem-aventurados os que têm fome e sede de justiça, porque eles serão fartos; Bem-aventurados os misericordiosos, porque eles alcançarão misericórdia; Bem-aventurados os limpos de coração, porque eles verão a Deus; Bem-aventurados os pacificadores, porque eles serão chamados filhos de Deus; Bem-aventurados os que sofrem perseguição por causa da justiça, porque deles é o reino dos céus; Bem-aventurados sois vós, quando vos injuriarem e perseguirem e, mentindo, disserem todo o mal contra vós por minha causa.(Mt.5)

HAPPY IS THE ONE WHO BELIEVES IN JESUS CHRIST

And if you call on him as the Father who, without respect for persons, judges according to each one's work, walk in fear during the time of your pilgrimage, Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your vain way of life, which you received by tradition from your fathers, But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without blemish, Who, indeed, was known at another time, even before the foundation of the world, but manifested in these last times for your sake; And by him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory, that your faith and hope might be in God; Purifying your souls by the Spirit in obedience to the truth, to unfeigned brotherly love; love one another ardently with a pure heart; Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the living word of God, which endures forever.
