Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke.
13 22 Always on the way to Jerusalem, Jesus was passing through towns and villages and taught them.
23 Someone asked him, "Lord, there are few men who are saved?" He answered:
24 "Strive to enter through the narrow door, because I tell you, many will seek to enter and will not succeed.
25 When the householder has entered and closed the door, and ye out, you begin to knock on the door, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us,' he will reply, 'I tell you, do not know where you are '.
26 You will say then, 'We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.'
27 But he will tell you, 'I do not know where you come from, depart from me all ye that are evildoers'.
28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and ye that ye may be thrown out.
29 They will come from east and west, north and south, and will sit at table in the kingdom of God.
30 There are last who will be first, and there are first who will be last. "
