HE LIVES AND OBSERVES US, HELPS US

HE LIVES AND OBSERVES US, HELPS US
Of my will to speak of the savior of the world of possession of sacred writings, Jesus Christ who died for us, obedient to the Father who is our God. Because one day we hope to be together happily in the Kingdom of Truth. He lives for ever and ever will lead to full life.
Chapter 16
1 After the Sabbath, Mary Magdalene, Mary, the mother of James, and Salome, bought scents to go and embalm him.
2 And very early on the first day of the week, at the rising of the sun, they went to the tomb.
3 They said to one another, "Who will remove the stone from the entrance to the tomb?"
4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was already removed; because it was too big.
5 When they entered the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in white, and they were astonished and frightened.
6 But he said to them, "Do not be afraid; you seek Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified; he is risen, he is no longer here; see where they had put him.
7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see, as he told you.
8 And as they went forth, they fled from the sepulcher, for they were possessed with fear and astonishment; and they said nothing to anyone in fear.
9 When he had risen early in the morning on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast seven demons.
10 And it came to pass, when she departed, that she came and told him to them that, being companions of Jesus, were grieved and wept.
11 When they heard that he was alive and had seen her, they did not believe.
12 After this, two of them were on the way to the field.
13 And as they went, they told the others, and they gave no credit to these two.
14 Finally Jesus appeared to the eleven when they were at the table, and reproved them with unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him already risen.
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 These signs shall accompany them that believe, in my name they shall drive out devils; they will speak new tongues;
18 They will take snakes; and if any deadly thing drink, it shall not harm them; if they lay hands on the sick, they shall be healed.
19 The Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was received into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
20 And they departed, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by signs, which followed.
