I want to tell you about my love.
So many beautiful people in the world, but they are like little birds, we can appreciate, but not take away their freedom.
Jesus teaches His disciples to live just what He Himself lived. May each one fulfill in his life only what Jesus fulfilled in His. All must be, before God and of men, only and only what Jesus was. In fact, Jesus is the model of a perfect man, for he is the New Man, loved by the Father. He is the Father's mercy acting in history, the highest expression of love, God's Gift for the salvation of the world . This is how Lc wants to show Jesus, not using terms such as justice and perfection, proper to Mt 5,48, but using terms that directly express God's goodness towards humanity.

2. The challenge for the disciples is precisely this: to be like the Master in divine realities. The truth is that everyone is called to these realities. Humanity exists for God, for eternal communion, for divinization. This is not a dream, an idea, but a reality, a project of the Father that will accomplish it through His Son, in the Holy Spirit. When the disciples chose Jesus, the Son of God, then they placed themselves at the disposal of this divinization, which demands renunciation of oneself, to embrace the things that are from above, such as God's mercy and love unconditional. In order to be a disciple or disciple, one must be more and more conformed to the Master, Jesus, the Beloved Son; let it be shaped in the image of God.

By the order of today's text, Jesus, speaking to those who hear Him, that is, to His disciples, asks only the following: that they love their enemies; do good to them that hate them; bless those who curse you; Pray for those who slander you; offer the other face when slapped (do good when they receive evil); offer the tunic to those who have stolen the mantle (attain as much as they can in goodness, for thereby they put a brake in the aftermath of evil); can give to anyone who asks them; do not ask for a return of what was taken from you; have a heart turned to the one who lives in misery and know that they will be measured with the same measure used to measure others. That is, what Jesus commands in relation to the other concerns a form of ten commandments: 1. To love the enemies; 2. Bless those who curse; 3. Pray for those who slander; 4. Do good; 5. Borrow without expecting anything in return; 6. Be merciful; 7. Do not judge; 8. Do not condemn; 9. Forgive; and 10. To give of what is proper and, as Jesus did, to give for the good of those who need it.
4. Jesus demands that His disciples neither develop nor develop any form of evil within them nor in their actions. In order to be a disciple, you need as much perfection as possible that the human being can reach. Acting in this way eliminates the continuity of evil and builds a new reality according to the will of God. That is why the demand of His disciples to love their enemies, to do good, to lend without expecting anything in return. What do you get out of it? What will be the reward? Jesus categorically states: "... you shall be sons of the Most High, ...". To become a child of God means to participate in His life, to be divinized, to enter into eternal communion and to be God's own transparency. Acting in this way, they will overcome the natural man and become the spiritual man wanted by God.
5. As children, because of the Son Jesus Christ, the disciples should be true gifts to the brothers and to humanity.
