We contemplate the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Bethlehem. Such a great and powerful God comes to us ... the word of God becomes flesh, comes out of his divinity and becomes a poor mortal like us in everything but sin. Jesus shows us that nothing we have or possess in this world matters, compared to what is to come ... the most important: eternal life. The pride of an angel who wanted to be God generated sin. And the wages of sin is death ... ... humility is the key to all our salvation, purity of heart, sincere surrender to God is obedience, and the wages of obedience is eternal life. For whoever believes in myself that dies, I will raise him up. Sacred Scripture is the way to find Jesus, when we get lost or deviate from that path, the consequence is pain and suffering. In the daily search for reading, studying and reflecting on the Bible, we can seek the encounter or the reunion with Our Lord and then live these words and teachings as soon as possible.
