SITTING TO THE FATHER'S RIGHT, WAIT FOR US
At that time, 1Jesus looked up to heaven and said: “Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, so that your Son may glorify you 2e, because you have given him power over every man, he will give eternal life to all those you have entrusted to him. 3 Now this is eternal life: may they know you, the only true God, and the one you sent, Jesus Christ. 4I glorified you on earth and completed the work you gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me with you, with the glory that I had with you before the world existed. 6 I made your name known to the men you gave me from the middle of the world. They were yours and you entrusted them to me, and they kept your word. 7Now they know that everything you gave me comes from you, 8for I gave them the words you gave me, and they welcomed them and truly acknowledged that I left you and believed that you sent me. 9I pray for them. I do not pray for the world, but for those you gave me, because they are yours. 10All that is mine is yours, and all that is yours is mine. And I am glorified in them. 11I am no longer in the world, but they remain in the world, while I go to you ”. At that time, Jesus looked up to heaven and prayed, saying: 11 “Holy Father, keep them in your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. 12When I was with them, I kept them in your name, the name you gave me. I kept them and none of them was lost, except the son of perdition, to fulfill the Scripture. 13Now, I am coming to you and saying these things, while I am still in the world, so that they may have my joy fully realized in them. 14I gave them your word, but the world rejected them, because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world. 15 I do not ask you to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. 16They are not of the world, as I am not of the world. 17Consecrate them in truth; your word is true. 18As you sent me into the world, so I sent them into the world. 19I consecrate myself for them, that they too may be consecrated in the truth ”. At that time, Jesus looked up to heaven and prayed, saying: 20 “Holy Father, I pray not only for them, but also for those who will believe me by his word; 21 so that all may be one, as you, Father, are in me and I in you, and that they may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22I gave them the glory that you gave me, so that they may be one, as we are one: 23me in them and you in me, so that they may come to perfect unity and the world will recognize that you sent me and loved them as me you loved me. 24Father, those who gave me, I want them to be with me wherever I am, so that they may contemplate my glory, glory that you gave me because you loved me before the foundation of the universe. 25Righteous father, the world did not know you, but I knew you and they also knew that you sent me. 26I have made your name known to them and will make it even more known, so that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I myself may be in them. ”He felt the word of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Love and pray one another, this is the law of love.
