What do I still lack?” 21Jesus replied: “If you want to be perfect, go, sell everything you have, give money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come and follow me”. 22When he heard this, the young man left full of sadness, because he was very rich. Before Jesus, no man had ever spoken of eternal life. You had to be good to have a good life, or you will have a life that will end up bad. Christ makes it clear that our greatest joy will be eternal life. Therefore, let us seek to be good.
