ANNOUNCEMENT – THE ANGEL ANNOUNCES MARY THAT SHE WILL BE MOTHER OF THE SON OF GOD – THE YES… We contemplate the annunciation of the angel Gabriel to Our Lady and the incarnation of the Word of God in her womb. “Here is the servant of the Lord, let it be done to me according to your word” – here we see in Mary selflessness, humility, love for God and self-giving. Today the Lord calls us to say yes to Jesus; born in our heart in our life, give meaning to our earthly life and embrace God's plan for our salvation. JESUS ​​IS BORN IN A GRAVE IN BELEM. We contemplate the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Bethlehem. Such a great and powerful God comes to us… the Word of God becomes flesh, leaves His divinity and becomes a poor mortal like us in everything but sin. Jesus shows us that nothing we have or possess in this world matters compared to what is to come… the most important thing: eternal life. The pride of an angel who wanted to be God begot sin. And the wages of sin is death… …humility is the key to all our salvation, purity of heart, sincere surrender to God is obedience, and the wages of obedience is eternal life. For whoever believes in myself should he die, I will raise him up. The Bible is the way to find Jesus, when we get lost or deviate from that way, the consequence is pain and suffering. In the daily search for reading, studying and reflecting on the Bible, we can seek an encounter or re-encounter with Our Lord and then live these words and teachings as soon as possible. And, like Jesus, grow in obedience and take care of the Father's things. An affectionate hug. One day we hope to be together in Father's house.
