JESUS ​​ASK FOR US TO FATHER
The teaching of Jesus is set. He never seeks to speak in an abstract way, far from the reality of people. It is always used by people or elements of nature to simply explain the salvific realities, that is, the mysteries of God for our salvation. Our language is grounded in our context and in the reality of our person. Hence our learning can not fall outside the realm of our symbolic universe. On the other hand, there was no interest in Jesus to be crowded with knowledge, but to lead us to the knowledge of "things above." Most important of all, His concern that we understand the meaning of His Kingdom and the most perfect way to convey it. In this sense, parables become the most eloquent means of transmission of knowledge by the very fact of using people or realities close to us, our daily life.
2. Where is the Kingdom? He is there, very near, somewhere to be found. God revealed it, He made it present in history in a personal way. It does not concern only virtues, but a person, Jesus Christ our Lord. This is what the parable of the treasure hidden in the field tells us. A man finds the treasure, rejoices with it, hides it, and buys that field where the treasure is found. It should be noted that the joy of discovery becomes the capacity for renunciation of all goods. He sells everything he has just to keep the treasure. Of course, it is not enough to find it, but principally to enter it. Here is a reference to the events of the context in which, because of the constant wars, many hid treasures and often had no access to them. Another would find him in the future, and certainly rejoiced greatly at such an important finding. Well, the joy for the discovery of the Kingdom is greater than the discovery of the most important treasure on the face of the earth.
3. Following the same idea, Jesus tells the parable of the treasure. A merchant of precious pearls, an already rich man, is also faced with the Kingdom of God, here symbolized by a pearl. He is also offered the Kingdom, the possibility of a new life, which comes from an encounter with Jesus, the PEARL by antonomasia. Even the merchant sold everything he had, and he totally stripped himself of what he considered to be valiant, to be left alone with the pearl of unparalleled value. He discovered the Kingdom and also entered into it. He had an encounter with Jesus Christ and remained with Him forever. In this and in the parable of the treasure, Jesus shows himself to be the most important, the Kingdom dear to God and belonging to Him.
4. What about you, have you had a happy opportunity with Jesus Christ? Have you realized that the world calls everything that is disposable a value and discards everything that has value in itself? Have you been able to renounce everything to be exclusively with Jesus Christ? Who is your most important treasure? Do you usually put something or person in God's place? If you are already a Christian or a Christian, do you usually give the first place of your day to the Word of God? Do you usually do good? Do you seek to put the will of God in the first place? Early on, do you usually tell Jesus to dictate to you what is to be lived on that day? Do you think you are far or near the TREASURY offered by God?
