THE GOOD NEW OF A NEW AND PERFECT LIFE

      Today Jesus shows us his power and that Moses and Elijah are with the Father, let us believe in him and live in search of him, who is here in the other.

At that time, 17 1 six days later, Jesus took Peter, James and John, his brother, with him and led them aside to a high mountain.
2There he transfigured in their presence: his face shone like the sun, his robes became resplendent with whiteness.
3And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared, talking with him.
4Peter took the floor and said to him, "Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you want, I will make three tents here: one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah." He was still speaking, when a luminous cloud came and enveloped them. And from that cloud there was a voice that said: "Behold my Son, whom I love, in whom I have placed all my affection; hear him".
6 Upon hearing this voice, the disciples fell face down and were afraid.
7But Jesus approached them and touched them, saying, "Arise and do not be afraid."
8They looked up and saw no one but Jesus.
9And when they came down, Jesus forbade them: "Do not tell anyone what you saw until the Son of Man is raised from the dead.
