Bem-aventurados os mansos, porque eles herdarão a terra; Bem-aventurados os que têm fome e sede de justiça, porque eles serão fartos; Bem-aventurados os misericordiosos, porque eles alcançarão misericórdia; Bem-aventurados os limpos de coração, porque eles verão a Deus; Bem-aventurados os pacificadores, porque eles serão chamados filhos de Deus; Bem-aventurados os que sofrem perseguição por causa da justiça, porque deles é o reino dos céus; Bem-aventurados sois vós, quando vos injuriarem e perseguirem e, mentindo, disserem todo o mal contra vós por minha causa.(Mt.5)

COMMANDMENTS ARE PROOFS OF LOVE
At that time, the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain that Jesus had indicated to them. 17When they saw Jesus, they fell down before him. Still, some doubted it. 18Then Jesus came and said: “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. 19Therefore, go and make disciples of mine all peoples, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit 20 and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you! Behold, I will be with you every day, even to the end of the world”.
1 – To love God above all things: because God loved us first, we must respond by loving Him in return. Love for God implies rejection of false gods. And renouncing all kinds of idolatry and superstition. But also unbelief, heresy, apostasy and schism, sacrilege and agnosticism.

2 - Do not take your Holy name in vain: “the gift of the name belongs to the order of trust and intimacy” (n. 2143). Respect for the name of God is the respect due to Himself. Here we must stick to the cares, too, referring to blasphemy, which is “to utter against God - inside or outside - words of hatred, censorship, defiance, saying evil of God, disrespecting Him in conversations, abusing the his name ”(n. 2148). Also, avoid making a false oath using the name of God.

3 - Keeping Sundays and Feast of Guard: “Sunday fully fulfills, at Christ's Passover, the spiritual truth of the Jewish Sabbath and announces the eternal rest of man, in God”
4th - Honor father and mother (and the other legitimate superiors).
5th - Do not kill (nor cause other damage, in the body or in the soul, to yourself or to your neighbor).
6th - Keep chastity in words and deeds.
7th - Do not steal (or unjustly withhold or damage the property of others).
8th - Do not raise false testimonies.
9th - Keep chastity in thoughts and desires.
10º- Do not covet other people's things. The commandments are summed up in loving others as yourself. God bless and keep us, sympathize with us and grant us peace.
