WORDS FOR OUR SALVATION

The disciple's dignity lies in being a disciple. Jesus is the Master who finds no comparison in any other on the face of the earth. He has a divine origin, is aware of a divine mission, is conscious of being the Son of God, is the bearer of absolute-salvific knowledge for humanity, is the New Man, the Perfect Man, reason and model for all, is the Way , The Truth and the Life. Moreover, it is the Servant par excellence. He did not cling to any kind of power as domination. His whole being was placed at the disposition of the Father's exclusive will. Being 100% a servant, 100% man and 100% God, Jesus can never be reached in his Masterhood. To be a disciple of Jesus is to reach here the most beautiful of the missions that one can perform. The disciple is called to become that which is his master: partaker of the divine nature by the action of the Holy Spirit, of the divine sonship, of the salvific mission as servant and suffering as a result of the mission.

2. The disciple knows that there is a world indifferent to the Word of God, a world that seeks to put out the light, a world that does not conform to the presence of authentic Christians. To this world, the disciple must announce the Truth, must bring the true Light, the teachings given by Jesus "at the ear." All that Jesus taught "in the dark", "in the dark", should be proclaimed "on the rooftops", in the clearest possible way, in the most enlightening way one can achieve, not only words but much more testimony Of life, the proclamation of the truth through a life totally turned to the Lord, completely in love with Jesus Christ and the salvation of all. Hence the need for totally detached men and women and everything and everyone, free of any interest other than just to stay with Jesus and be his instrument of salvation, to be available to every test, so that the mission of the Word made flesh Continue in history.

3. The proclamation of the Kingdom of God must be done without fear. Certainly, alone, men and women will be unable to realize it. To do this, Jesus gives His Holy Spirit, who empowers, enlightens, sanctifies, configures Christ and encourages each and every one in this ministry of such responsibility. With the Force of God, the disciples certainly will not fear the hostile, indifferent world represented by the wolves. To the disciples Jesus clarifies that they should not cling to this world, to materiality, to dominant interests, to the play of human reason, to the logic that justifies only domination and slavery, because the figure of this world passes. The disciple has to rely on God, His providence, His love and His saving power. Each one is important before the Lord, much more than anything else in this world.

4. It is also true that there is a grave consequence for those who do not make their lives a gift, for those who do not have the courage to accept the Gift of God for those who deny the salvation freely offered by the Lord. Salvation requires two things: the initiative of God and the response of each one to His calling. Therefore, to dispense with Jesus means not to be welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven. Denying Jesus Christ is the same as rejecting both the salvific project of the Father and the Father Himself; Is to reject the goal for which all were created: communion with God. The eschatological datum is clear: "Therefore whosoever shall declare himself for me before men, I will also declare myself for him before my Father which is in heaven: but whosoever shall deny me before men, I also I will deny him before my Father who is in heaven. "

A strong and affectionate hug.
