The Son of God is with us, something extraordinary happens: this multitude meets Jesus, who resuscitates the young man, after having felt the pain of that poor widow. A new reality arises at that moment. meeting with Jesus, the two crowds come together, forming one in the glorification of the power of God realized there. Jesus is no longer seen as a simple Jew, not just a prophet. Much more than that: all there saw Him as the presence of God, that is, God acting in favor of the people, taking their pains, pitying, healing them, bringing liberation, giving meaning to their lives, asserting their dignity and your future.
This is the time of a true encounter with Jesus. We do not follow those who walk towards death, but the risen Jesus, who knows how to penetrate the psychological world of each one, placing himself as a liberating Servant, assuming what most imprisons him. He is compassionate, knows the pain of each, sees the most invisible details of the human mind and heart, is not afraid to bump and "touch the coffin" of those who have lost the sense of living and walks to the bottom of the well, does not measure circumstances to enter unexpectedly into the "event" of delusions and mourning that torments each one, for He knows that brings with it life, hope and a new horizon. "Young man, I command you, get up!" Stand up, today is the day of your liberation, live, for your world has been restored, your life transformed, everything in you as a party now. Go, announce the wondrous works of the Lord. I made of you a light to illuminate the world. Go ahead, announce me, as if it were me.
