CHRIST LIVES, SON OF GOD AND OUR BROTHER!!!

CHRIST LIVES, SON OF GOD AND OUR BROTHER!!!

At that time, 1 Jesus appeared again to the disciples, on the shore of the Sea of Tiberias. The apparition went like this: 2 Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus, Nathanael of Cana of Galilee, the sons of Zebedee and two other disciples of Jesus were together. 3Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said, "We're going with you too." They went out and got on the boat, but they caught nothing that night. 4 It was already dawn, and Jesus was standing on the bank. But the disciples did not know it was Jesus. 5Then Jesus said, “Young men, do you have anything to eat?” They replied: “No”. 6Jesus said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat and you will find it.” So they cast the net and could not pull it out because of the number of fish. 7Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his clothes, for he was naked, and threw himself into the sea. 8The other disciples came with the boat, dragging the net with the fish. In fact, they were not far from land, but only about a hundred meters away. 9 As soon as they had set foot on the earth, they saw burning coals, with fish on top, and bread. 10 Jesus said to them, "Bring some of the fish you caught." 11Then Simon Peter got into the boat and dragged the net ashore. It was full of one hundred and fifty-three large fish; and in spite of so many fish, the net did not break. 12 Jesus said to them, "Come and eat." None of the disciples dared to ask who he was, for they knew it was the Lord. 13 Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them. And he did the same thing with the fish. 14This was the third time that Jesus, risen from the dead, appeared to the disciples. 9After he had been resurrected, at dawn on the first day after the Sabbath, Jesus first appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast seven demons. 10She went to tell Jesus' followers, who were mourning and weeping. 11 When they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe him. 12Then Jesus appeared to two of them, looking different, as they were going out into the field. 13They also returned and told others about it. They also did not give credit. 14 Finally, Jesus appeared to the eleven disciples while they were eating, rebuking them because of their lack of faith and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen him risen. 15And he said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature!” 9 When evening came on that day, the first of the week, when the doors of the place where the disciples were gathered were closed for fear of the Jews, Jesus came in and, standing among them, said, “Peace be with you.” 20After these words he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples rejoiced to see the Lord. 21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” 22And after he had said this, he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 Whoever you forgive sins, they will be forgiven them; whoever you do not forgive them, they will be retained.” 24Thomas, called Didymus, who was one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. 25The other disciples then told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But Thomas said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in your hands, if I do not put my finger into the nail marks and put my hand in your side, I will not believe." 26Eight days later, the disciples were together again at home, and Thomas was with them. When the doors were closed, Jesus came in, stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” 27Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and look at my hands. Reach out your hand and place it in my side. And do not be unbelieving, but faithful.” 28Thomas replied, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who believed without having seen!” 30Jesus performed many other signs before the disciples, which are not written in this book. 31But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
