I adore You from the abyss of my nothingness and I give You thanks for all Your benefits, especially for having given Yourself to me in this sacrament, for having given me Mary, Your Most Holy Mother, as my advocate, and finally for having called me to visit You in this church. Today I greet Your most loving heart. First, in gratitude for the great gift of Yourself; second, in reparation for the injuries You have received in this sacrament. To perpetuate faith in Your real presence in the Eucharist, with extraordinary power You deigned to change the species of bread and wine into Flesh and Blood, as they are preserved in the Eucharistic Shrine of Lanciano. Increase ever more our faith in You, O Blessed Sacrament! Burning with love for You, grant that in our dangers, anguish and needs, we may find help and consolation only in You, O divine Prisoner of our tabernacles, O inexhaustible source of all graces. Arouse in us a hunger and thirst for Your Eucharistic food, so that, by tasting this heavenly bread, we may enjoy true life, now and forever. Amen.
