A PAZ VEM DA MUDANÇA PARA DEUS.

Brethren, 12 you were buried with Christ in baptism; you were also raised with him through faith in the power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. 13 Now you were dead because of your sins, and your bodies had not received circumcision, until God brought you to life together with Christ, and forgave us all sins. 14There was a bill against us to be paid, but he canceled it, despite legal obligations, and eliminated it, nailing it to the cross.
You have received the Spirit of adoption; / it is for him that we cry: Abba, Father! (Rom 8,15) – R.
Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke – 1 Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he had finished, one of his disciples asked him, "Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples." 2Jesus replied, “When you pray, say, ‘Father, hallowed be your name. Thy Kingdom come. 3Give us the bread we need each day, 4and forgive us our sins, for we also forgive all our debtors; and lead us not into temptation'”. 5And Jesus added, “If one of you has a friend and goes to him at midnight and says to him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves, 6because a friend of mine has come on a journey and I have nothing to offer him,' 7e if the other responds from within: 'Don't bother me! I have already locked the door, and my children and I are already in bed; I cannot get up to give you the loaves,' 8 I tell you that even if the other does not get up to give them because he is your friend, he will get up at least because of his impertinence and give him as much as he needs. 9 Therefore I say to you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you. 10For whoever asks, receives; he who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, it will be opened. 11 Will any of you who are a father, if his son ask for a fish, will he give him a snake? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
On his way to Jerusalem, Jesus continues to teach his disciples. Seeing the Master pray, a disciple asks him to teach them how to pray, as the rabbis did. Faced with the disciple's question, the Master offers them a model of prayer, the Our Father. The first aspect of this prayer is our divine sonship. We address God as a father. He is the Father of us all. Jesus teaches us and invites us to learn from him the way to address God, calling him Dad, who takes care of each of his sons and daughters with love and affection. To ask that the Kingdom of God be established on earth is to recognize that we will have all that is necessary for a life worthy of sons and daughters of God: land to cultivate, roof to live in, work to support ourselves. Kingdom established, we will live in peace and harmony in the family, community and society. God's name will be sanctified as life blossoms. The glory of God is the life of human beings. The parable teaches us to persevere in prayer, to trust in the Father. He offers us the gift of the Spirit, so that we know how to discern what is most important for life; always and continuously seeking what dignifies human life. We must never give up asking the Father and looking for what makes us more human. Lord who teaches us in everything, who illuminates all paths to reach the ideal, who gives us the divine gift of forgiving and forgetting the evil that is done to us, that every moment of life is with you, I want in this short dialogue to thank you for everything and confirm once again that it will not be the least desire I feel to be with you one day and with all friends in the house of paternal happiness.

E quem sou eu
Pra ter você só pra mim
Essa rosa vermelha tem espinhos
Eu estou morrendo por esta flor
Eu não sou boêmio
Mas hoje eu vou beber
Quero esquecer a paixão
Quero esquecer a paixão

That day Jesus left the house and went to sit on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. 2 A large crowd gathered around him. So Jesus got into a boat and sat down while the crowd stood on the shore. 3 And he told them many things in parables:

“The sower went out to sow. 4 As he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and ate them up. 5 Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where there was not much soil. The seeds soon sprang up, because the earth was not deep. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched and withered, because they had no root.

7 Other seeds fell among the thorns. The thorns grew and choked the plants. 8 Other seeds, however, fell on good soil, and produced a hundred, sixty, and thirty fruits per seed. 9 Whoever has ears, let him hear!”

1. Mt writes to the communities in Syria and northern Palestine, where there were two major problems: Jewish leaders opposed to Jesus and the discouragement of Christians in the face of serious mission challenges in a world indifferent to the Word of God. Mt seeks to clarify and encourage them in the ministry, to bring them back to the Christian vocation and the first love, and to the responsibility of each one in the face of the mystery of the cross, in order to achieve the salvation of persecutors; and he still evinces the presence of the kingdom of God in constant activity, acting as a simple seed, but tending to glory. Such a seed sown in the heart of man, so that he may play his part, as fertile ground, responding to the action of the Lord in his life for his good and the good of all humanity.
2. In today's text, the accent is on the seed, which is the Word of God. It must be sown all over the world, even if the soil is of poor quality. An example of this is the land of Israel, a territory unsuitable for planting or even sowing. There, it is common to sow the seed while the land is still unprepared, that is, completely overgrown with weeds, but even so, the sower sows the seed, knowing all the risks, and may or may not reap some fruit later. This is how the Christian community must proceed. Your concern should not be focused on the harvest, on the immediate transformation of humanity, on a quick response to the announcement made. In many cases this is possible, but in many others, everything seems to go wrong. Then comes the discouragement. The sower must have only one concern: to sow without fear and remain confident in the power of God.
3. The one who sows must, first of all, not choose the place where the seed will be sown nor want to force the seed to grow in hearts. The sower must be a person with a deep life of prayer, knowledge of the Word of God and knowledge of human reality; someone simple, humble, patient, detached, available, obedient and determined. He must be someone who truly believes, who understands his life as a gift and lives life as a gift from God, and who has the truth as the foundation of his existence. In this way, he will be concerned with a more careful evangelizing mission, seeking to be more authentic and more effective in sowing the Word, detached from the fruits and attached to the worthy exercise of his mission, leaving to God the responsibility of the driving force for the flowering and development of the plant, as well as the harvest of the fruits. The sower must be faithful and true, love and live in the joy of responding to God, sowing in the hearts of all men, without exception, because his interest is the salvation of all, leaving them free to bear fruit or not, many or little fruit, but that each one be free in responding to God's salvific call.

MISSA NESTA SEXTA - PELA CONVERSÃO DO MUNDO E PELAS ALMAS

SAÚDE E PROTEÇÃO A  TODA GENTE

JESUS LOVES US AND WANTS TO SAVE US. WE NEED TO LOVE!!!

1. The Sabbath is a very important day for Israel; it is the day of the Old Covenant, the day of rest (cf. Ex 34:21), the day of the Lord. Every Jew, therefore, must live this day toward his family and toward God. Such importance allowed, little by little, an enslavement of the Jews to the Sabbath, a form of blind and inhuman dependence. The seventh day of the week has become a very heavy burden because of so many superficial laws built into it. Mt narrates this fact, placing Jesus above the Temple in importance and evidencing mercy beyond sacrifice. Mc, in turn, adds the superiority of man over the “Sabbath”. Luke's text is the shortest of the three.

2. Jesus relativizes the Sabbath. The Pharisaic reaction to the disciples' attitude in picking up the ears of wheat reveals a very great fragility in the understanding of the Day of the Lord. When making a comparison with what David did, when he came from a persecution provoked by Saul, when he ate the holy bread, due only to the priests (Lev 24,5-9). The teaching is evident that in the face of extreme need, the law is suspended, in this case, the prescriptions of the Sabbath. Life is more important than any law, because the law exists in favor of life, which is a gift from God. In turn, the disciples, proceeding as they did, give the impression that they were at ease with Jesus, they had a form of security capable of allowing them to dare on the Sabbath day; they were beginning to see a tremendous change in the way of understanding the Law of God, putting them in the condition of free men.

3. The Sabbath must be the day when man lives his condition of image and likeness with God, through the exercise of his autonomy turned towards the Lord; it is also the day to commemorate the liberation of God's people (Ex 20:11; Dt 5:15). This original meaning is being established by Jesus, who reveals himself as the Lord of the Sabbath. The key to understanding the Law of God is Jesus Christ, the only Word of the Father, the whole teaching of the Father to humanity. He is the transforming Word, the saving Message, the liberating Newness, perceived more clearly after his death and resurrection.

4. Resurrection Sunday, the day of the New and Eternal Covenant, is the fulfillment of the Old Testament Sabbath; it is the day of the glorification of Jesus, of the new creation, of the New Covenant, of victory over death, sin and Satan; it is the day of the Church's faith, the new people of God. The Old Testament Sabbath fulfilled its mission as a preparatory promise for Sunday, the Lord's Day. Sunday is the day for the true appreciation of human dignity, its autonomy and liberation, the day of the Christian family and its communion with God, the day of charity and solidarity par excellence, the whole day for God and for the good of humanity. I hope that the rest due to the Lord's Day is truly lived with intense joy, enchantment and availability on the Sunday of the Risen One, the Son of Man, the Lord of the Sabbath, the Risen Victor, our Law par excellence.

5. The Day of the Lord is manifested in mercy. All sacrifices to God are useless if you don't have a heart for those who suffer all kinds of misfortune, such as, for example: abandonment, disillusionment, depression, hunger and thirst, injustices, exploitation, slavery, ignorance of the truth, diseases, Among other things. Jesus himself listed the things that make his disciples blessed: feeding the hungry, drinking the thirsty, clothing the naked, welcoming the stranger, visiting those in hospitals and prisons (cf. Mt 25:35-45). Whoever claims to have faith, but does not care about the good of the other, lies and still becomes cursed, someone useless, condemned to eternal death. What meaning does the Day of the Lord have for those who only care about themselves? Is there any value in not working on the day of Jesus' Resurrection and at the same time neglecting one's own salvation and charity? On the other hand, is it worth going to divine worship, participating in Holy Mass, and not letting go of your affairs, your ambitions, on the Lord's Day?

WE NEED TO LOVE. THIS IS THE LAW OF GOD!!!

WE NEED TO LOVE. THIS IS THE LAW OF GOD!!!

A master of the Law, therefore knowledgeable of the Old Testament, having before him a carpenter's son, who is teaching and leading people along the path of liberation, claims his "wisdom", his "knowledge", to humiliate the Galileo before His disciples, before everyone present. The question of the master of the law contains the essential data of eternal life as an end, but only for those who live the truth proclaimed in Dt 6,4 and Lv 19,18. Jesus counters the question with another question: “What is written in the Law? How do you read it? The teacher is forced to quote the two texts of Deut and Lev: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, with all your strength and with all your mind” (Deut 6:4). ), that is, to love with all the charm, with all of life, spending oneself totally for God and using one's intelligence for the deepest knowledge of the Lord, that is, being absolutely turned to God. Then, “…and your neighbor as yourself” (Leviticus 19:18). Faced with the answer, Jesus places himself beyond the reach of the master of the law, agreeing with the answer, but adding an important “Do this and you will live”, that is, the need not only to know, but to put it into daily practice. day, in the daily life of family and community relationships and with the world.

2. The master of the Law wanted to justify himself: “And who is my neighbor?”. With this question, he simply demonstrated that his understanding of neighbor was greatly reduced, for, like every good Jew, neighbor means a relative, someone from the same community or from the same country and from the same religion. Jesus perceives the limitations of those who question him and gives him the most important lesson about God's love through the parable of the Samaritan. According to Jesus, a neighbor is not someone who is part of the same family, friendship cycle, the same community, country or religion. It is not the consanguinity or the same nationality that characterize the next. Such a vision is nothing more than a logic proper to all nations. There is nothing new in this form of action. Next in Jesus' logic is everyone in need and this is universal; it is everyone who needs attention, a hug, advice, food, health, education and security; he is also one who needs formation, knowledge of the truth, expectations and hope. And yet, to be more emphatic, a neighbor is one who, in the face of the needy, puts himself at his disposal for his good. So, in this case, there is, in addition to what you need, a requirement to make yourself close.

3. The master of the law understood the new teaching. He understood that the Law of God is a Gift for the liberation of the human being and that, for this, it requires renewed men and women, according to Jesus Christ, to be authentic instruments of GOD'S INSTRUCTION. That master, after that encounter with Christ, conquered a new way, the most perfect way of transmitting the TORAH, because he passed to the understanding of the essence of the Law of God. It is clear, therefore, that knowledge of the Law is not enough, but also, and above all, the most correct way of applying it, which cannot be other than that of the Savior. Jesus Christ is, in himself, the legitimate interpretation of the Law of God, being himself the fulfillment of it.

4. The next is "He who showed mercy...". It is not a matter of favoring in a state of sin. It is not the same thing as pitying someone who sins and keeping him in his sin. It does not mean giving rights to people in a serious situation of distance from themselves and from communion with God, so as not to exclude the other. Acting in this way is the same as preserving in one's life the dictates of a world that ardently desires rights, but without commitment, responsibility and without conversion. To be merciful is to act saving the other. How to save it? Taking care of him in his needs both physical and spiritual. Those who love God do not want misfortune either for themselves or for others. And there is no greater disgrace than sin. Those who fight for the conversion of themselves and others are acting in the name of the most important expression of God's love. So, let's take care of each other, do good, correct mistakes, show God's horizon to those who need to meet with Him. That's mercy.

Now, let's go and do the same thing!

God expects our conversion through love for others. MISSA NESTA QUINTA.

God expects our conversion through love for others.

While Jesus was speaking, a chief approached, bowed deeply before him, and said, “My daughter has just died. But come, lay your hand on her and she will live.”

19 Jesus got up and followed him, along with his disciples. 20 At this, a woman who had been bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the hem of her robe. 21 She thought to herself, "If I can just touch his robe, I'll be healed." 22 Jesus turned around and, seeing her, said, “Take courage, daughter! Your faith has saved you.” And the woman was healed from that moment.

23 Arriving at the chief's house, Jesus saw the flute players and the crowd in an uproar, 24 and said, "Go away, for the girl is not dead, but she is sleeping." And they started making fun of him. 25 When the crowd had parted, Jesus came in, took the girl by the hand, and she got up. 26 This news spread throughout that region.

1. In Mt we have the same information about a leader, but in Mc and Lc there is the imposition of the name of this leader (Jairus) and that he was the head of a synagogue, according to Lc, and one of the heads of the synagogue, according to Lk. Mc. Another information is that according to the text of Mt, the daughter of Jairus was already dead when he went to speak with Jesus; already in Mc and Lc, she was already dying. Mc and Lc put the girl's death after the scene involving the hemorrhoid. In all three texts, Jairus, making a gesture of total submission, begs Jesus to heal his daughter. In the way the scene takes place, a faith-trust of Jairo is made explicit, who could see in Jesus the presence of the Kingdom of God. Beyond any religious question, it was clear in Jairus that Jesus had power over nature and man. By begging for his daughter's release, Jairus demonstrates his trust in the liberating Messiah. To reach that conclusion, surely a tremendous Jewish barrier was being broken down. Add to that the crowd wanting to see and touch Jesus.

2. Before the healing of Jairus' daughter takes place, another case is put on the scene: a woman who had suffered from a hemorrhage for twelve years. "She suffered at the hands of many doctors", she could only trust the one who passed by with the crowd. Surely she had heard of Jesus. Science is not always capable of everything. It is the biggest mistake for anyone to think that science answers all questions. It's even silly. That woman, unable to cure by science, faces the difficulty imposed by the crowd and touches Jesus. Her touch was not only a physical one, but also a supernatural one. She touched Jesus in a salvific way, through a gesture of total surrender. To Jesus' question, "Who touched me?", his disciples and the people responded rationally, in view of the tumult of the people. Jesus, in turn, feels the touch of salvation, from whom he longs for total deliverance. The woman was healed physically and in her soul, and only faith was enough for her.

3. Meanwhile, Jairo, anxious for his daughter's release, realizes how necessary it is to believe beyond human weaknesses. In Mc and Lc, he receives the news of his daughter's death, and, therefore, some question why he abuses Mestre more. She was already dead, what to do now? There is no more solution, for death is a fact. So thought those who broke the news to Jairo. Jesus, however, consoles him, saying: "Do not be afraid. It is enough to have faith". Jairo trusted Jesus' words and went with him to his house, a place where, during the wake, the rational domain reigned: they mocked Jesus by claiming that the girl was not dead, but asleep. Interestingly, where reason alone reigns, there is too much noise, shouting, because each one wants to be more right than the other. In addition, in the face of the total knowledge of Jesus, the ignorance of that people was placed. And the more ignorant, the more the owner of the truth and the mocker of others. Jesus shows that all this is unnecessary, it is illusion, fantasy. The necessary no one was having there: FAITH.

4. Jairus fought everything he believed in to get closer to Jesus in order to free his 12-year-old daughter. He actually represents the need of all Israel, represented in the 12 years of the girl, to open themselves to the Messiah, to the newness of the presence of the Kingdom of God in Jesus Christ. The hemorrhoid, in turn, reminds us of the need for everyone, in any part of the world, to face any and all difficulties in order to reach Jesus, the only one capable of truly freeing man. Both Jairo and the hemorrhoids needed to take the legitimate step of faith: to believe not in the miracle, but to meet what the miracle indicates: God; both needed to move from a faith-trust to a faith total adherence to God and his work. Such a passage is possible seeing the miracle of the resurrection, which in this case is not the same thing as the resurrection of Christ, but already identifies it, including the presence of the apostles Peter, James and John, the same ones of the Transfiguration.

(Mt 27, 27-29).

Pai Nosso, 10 Ave Marias (meditando o mistério), Glória ao Pai.

Quarto Mistério Doloroso: Jesus carregando a cruz no caminho do Calvário

.

“Who do people say the Son of Man is?”

Public opinion manifested a vague, common and, at times, special knowledge, as it saw in Jesus a good man, a prophet, someone of God. The fact is that this is not enough to define the Mestre of Nazareth. Jesus certainly prepared his disciples for something more, for a deeper understanding, he raised them to the maximum that they could reach in the knowledge of him. Before his death, such knowledge did not have the clarity that the disciples obtained after the Resurrection. However, they already had enough to express that Jesus was not a simple man, a simple prophet. Who really is Jesus? 2. "And who do you say that I am?" Jesus doesn't want a scientific definition of Him, he doesn't want concepts about his person. He already knew the way of thinking of those who killed the prophets before HIM, he also already knew what human beings are capable of doing with power in their hands. In this text, what interests Him is the adherence of His disciples to Him and to His work. Knowledge alone does not say anything, it does not elevate anyone. Often it only serves to deceive those who know it into the illusion of a universe of pride and self-sufficiency. It is not this kind of knowledge that serves in the discovery of Jesus. Here it is an experience in the intimacy of a life of encounter, of openness to the action of God and of faith. The apostles lived with Jesus, listened to Him, learned from Him, saw His miracles and experienced His merciful action. Jesus' life with them was the most perfect school of life and faith. So, confirming what they say about HIM doesn't mean anything, because what they say doesn't match the Master's reality. Knowing the reality of Jesus requires personal experience and self-giving, renunciation of worldly mentality and acceptance of God's logic. 3. "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God. Peter tells the truth about the Master, but he does not know the depth of this statement. In fact, it was professed by inspiration of God. Peter did not imagine Jesus as Messiah according to the thought of God, but according to the mentality of the Jews. Even so, Jesus respects his affirmation and, still, among the 44 beatitudes of the New Testament, he dedicates one to Peter: “Blessed are you Simon, son of Jonah…”. In Peter's affirmation, two crucial points for faith are present: the Messiah (the Anointed One) and also the Son of God. The term Son, in the original Greek, is preceded by the definite article, indicating that Jesus alone is the Son by antonomasia , that is, by essence. From all eternity, He is the Son. Hence why this revelation could only really have come from the Father. The human being would be incapable of understanding it. A demonstration of Peter's incomprehension, despite the proclamation of faith accomplished, occurs at the end of the text, when Jesus said that he would suffer to cry a lot and die on the part of the elders, the high priests and the teachers of the Law, but that he would rise on the third day, Peter, manifests himself and, once again, demonstrates not knowing the type of Messiah that Jesus was. In both Peter's statements, there is tremendous ignorance about the Savior's Person and mission.

4. For his part, Jesus does not give up on the mission that he wants to carry out through him: you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the power of hell will never be able to overcome it" (Mt 16:18, Lk 22, 31-32; Jn 21:15-17). Simon is called translated as stone, but not as rock. The Greek language makes this distinction, using πετρα to refer to the term rock. This means that Peter is not the ROCK, In this way, the word ROCK will always be linked to Jesus Christ and, because of Him, to FAITH, as total adherence to Him. The rock on which Christ built His Church is not the human figure of Peter, but FAITH unshakable in Jesus Christ as the "Messiah, Son of God", the God made flesh, the cornerstone of salvation. Not just any form of faith is said, but the FAITH professed by Peter. This means that professing the truth about Jesus Christ requires participation in HIS reality. Hence why Simon also became Πετρα (stone), with the mission of justifying in faith and being the visible head he of the flock of the Lord. Christ is the living Rock, and the baptized are "living stones in the spiritual building, which is Christ."

5. And the gates of hell shall not prevail over her. The term port designates security for one environment and does not attack another. In this sense, it will not be the door that will attack the Church, but the followers of Christ who will have to destroy the doors of everything that leads to death. If there is a reference to sheol, it also indicates a whole culture of death, pride and corruption established in the midst of humanity and which is intended to remain as such, keeping itself "safe" according to the technique of manipulation, falsification and illusion of prepared people. for inhuman discipleship. The gates of hell will never prevail over the Church because the power of Jesus Christ works for our conversion and salvation. Glory to you Lord.
