At nightfall of that day, the first of the week, the doors of the place where the disciples were being closed, for fear of the Jews, Jesus entered and, standing in the midst of them, said: "Peace be with you". 20 After these words, he showed them his hands and side. Then the disciples were glad to see the Lord. 21 Again, Jesus said: “Peace be with you. As the Father sent me, I also send you ”. 22And after saying this, he blew on them and said: “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23Whoever you forgive your sins, they will be forgiven them; whoever does not forgive them, they will be withheld ”. 24 Thomas, called Didymus, who was one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. 25The other disciples then told him: “We have seen the Lord!” But Thomas said to them, "If I don't see the nail mark on your hands, if I don't put my finger on the nail marks and don't put my hand on your side, I won't believe it." 26Eight days later, the disciples were meeting again at home, and Thomas was with them. When the doors were closed, Jesus came in, stood among them and said: "Peace be with you". 27Then he said to Thomas: “Put your finger here and look at my hands. Extend your hand and place it on my side. And don't be incredulous, but be faithful ”. 28Tomé replied, "My Lord and my God!" 29Jesus said to him, “Did you believe because you saw me? Blessed are those who believed without having seen! ” 30Jesus performed many other signs before the disciples, which are not written, but these were written, so that they believe and live in his name.
