V STATION - JESUS IS HELPED BY SIMON OF CYRENE

Jesus asked: Who do you think was the neighbor of that man who fell into the hands of robbers?
He replied: He who showed mercy towards him.
Jesus replied: Go and do the same. (Lk 10, 36-37)

VII STATION - JESUS FALLS FOR THE SECOND TIME

If anyone wants to come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow Me. In fact, whoever wants to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for the sake of Me and the Gospel will save it. (Mc 8,3-35)

VIII STATION - JESUS CONSOLATES THE PIOUS WOMEN

Jesus turned to them and said to them: Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but rather weep for yourselves and for your children. (Lk 23, 28)

IX STATION - JESUS FALLS FOR THE THIRD TIME

And he said to them, "My soul is in mortal sorrow; stay here and watch." Mk 14:34)

X STATION - JESUS IS STRIPPED OF HIS CLOTHES

Thus the Scripture was fulfilled, which says:
They divided my clothes among them
and upon my tunic they cast lots. (John 19:24)

11TH STATION - JESUS IS CRUCIFIED

Then, Jesus, seeing his mother and the disciple he loved standing there, said to his mother: "Woman, behold your son!"
Then he said to the disciple: Behold your mother! And, from that moment on, the disciple welcomed her as his own. (John 19, 26-27)

XII STATION - JESUS DIES ON THE CROSS

Giving a loud cry, Jesus exclaimed: "Father, into Your hands I commend My spirit." Having said this, he expired. (Luke 23:46)

XIII STATION - JESUS IS TAKEN DOWN FROM THE CROSS AND HANDED TO HIS MOTHER

A sword will pierce your soul. Thus the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. (Lc 2,25)

XIV STATION - JESUS IS BURIED
V. We adore You and bless You, Lord Jesus.
A. Because by Your holy cross You redeemed the world.
[Joseph of Arimathea] went to Pilate and asked him for the body of Jesus.
Taking Him down from the cross, he wrapped Him in a sheet and placed Him in a tomb cut out of the rock, where no one had yet been buried. (Lc 23,52)

XV STATION - JESUS IS RISEN AS HE SAID

Jesus said [to Mary Magdalene], "Do not detain Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brothers and say to them, I am ascending to My Father, who is your Father, to My God, who is your God.'"
Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples: "I have seen the Lord!" And she told what He had said to her. (John 20:17-18).
