6 16 And when evening was come, his disciples went down by the lake.
17 They went up into a boat and crossed the lake toward Capernaum. It was already dark, and Jesus had not yet joined them.
18 The sea, however, was agitated, for a strong wind was blowing.
19 When they rowed about twenty-five or thirty stages, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water, and they were afraid.
20 But he said to them, "I am he. Do not be afraid."
21 They wanted to receive him in the boat, but shortly afterwards the boat arrived at its destination.
