CONVERSION IS CHANGING LIFE, LIVING FOR GOD AND THE NEARBY
Whoever loves his life will lose it; whoever, on the contrary, hates his life in this world, will keep it for eternal life ”. Loving here does not mean giving value, seeing it in God's plan, but in a reality of selfishness, personal attachment, a kind of narcissism. To hate life itself does not mean, in turn, to devalue it, on the contrary, it means to have it in a very high degree of importance, but in dependence on God, turned to God and at the disposal of the Lord's will. To hate life, in this context, is not to be attached to yourself, not to seek everything for yourself, but to place yourself at the disposal of the Most High's desire. It is also to want to be useful in the practice of good, not to strive to love, to be true, to build peace and justice; it is to be supportive, available, detached from yourself and faithful to the Father's project through Jesus Christ; it is to be turned towards the future of God, facing the cross without being discouraged. God wants us to be saved and think of others. Let us pray for the salvation of the world.
