The Lord became my protector and led me to a spacious place; He saved me because he loves me (Ps 17:19s).

Called to holiness, with an inhaled in the way of acting our master, we Christians are willing to advertise their love project without reserve. For this, we seek to put our commitment to Christ above any family or social commitment. Thus we already live here on earth the joy of eternal life, promised to the faithful.

First Reading: 1 Peter 1,10-16

Reading of St. Peter's First Letter - Dear, 10 This salvation has been the object of the investigations and meditations of the prophets. They prophesied about the grace that was destined for you. 11 They proved to know what time and what circumstances were referred to in the Spirit of Christ, which was in them, to announce in advance the sufferings of Christ and the consequent glory. 12 To them revealed that, not for themselves, but to you, they were ministering these things that are now announced to you by those who preach you the gospel by virtue of the Holy Spirit, sent from heaven; Those revelations that even angels wish to contemplate! 13 By this, get your mind ready; Be sober and put all your hope in the grace that will be offered to you in the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, you do not model your life according to the passions of old, of the time of your ignorance. 15An, as a holy one who called you, becomes holy, also you, in all your proceed. 16They is in Scripture: "Headquarters Santos, because I am holy." - Word of the Lord.

Gospel: Mark 10,28-31

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah.

Thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, / For you revealed the mysteries of your kingdom to the little ones, hiding them to the doctors! (Mt 11.25) - R.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Mark - at that time, he has given Peter to say to Jesus, "Behold, we leave everything and follow you." 29 Jesus answered: “Verily I say unto you, who has left home, brothers, sisters, mother, father, children, fields, because of me and the gospel, 30 will have a hundred times more now, during this life - house, brothers, sisters, Mothers, children and fields, with persecution -and, in the future world, eternal life. 31st many that are now the first will be the last. And many who are now the last will be the first. ” - Word of salvation.

Reflection:

Makes sense of Pedro's question. The apostles know that Jesus is poor, and they themselves left all they had. Jesus then shows them a new side of his community: the sharing of goods among all. Nothing will miss anyone; On the contrary, everything multiplies. It will not be missed nor the persecution: “If they pursued me, they will pursue you too” (John 15:20). The first Christian communities lived this proposal: they departed bread through the houses and celebrated the Eucharist. There was a climate of general satisfaction and accentuated spirit of sharing, so that “no one said that it was his goods he had, but everything among them was common” (Acts 4:32). Everything can continue to work unless the community infiltrates selfishness and vigorous attachment to material goods.
