MAY THE PEACE BE WITH YOU

MAY THE PEACE BE WITH YOU
We contemplate Jesus' resurrection. Death is not the end for those who believe in Jesus.
The victory over death, the hope of eternal life, the sending to announce the good news, the remission of sins. Jesus' peace to those who follow Him.

In order to follow Jesus, it is necessary to despise oneself, to embrace, without fear, "the daily cross", to fear neither the rejection of men nor death, to despise the world and to have Jesus as the only reason and model of his existence. The disciple, with these characteristics, will never be ashamed of his Master, he will never give preference to what is useless, he will never exchange the Truth for the illusions of worldly life.

3. It is not possible to be a disciple of Christ and continue with the passions of the world. It is not possible to please God, walking on the road of doom. The disciple's goal is communion with the Father through Jesus Christ, who grants to those who seek him the grace to participate in His own reality. The disciple is identified with the Master. Such identification occurs both with regard to what man becomes by the action of the Holy Spirit in his baptismal life and in the delivery of himself in the name of the same Jesus. The disciple is called to participate not only in the same baptismal and also missionary identification, but also sacrificial. He must make himself a gift, giving himself, making possible in his life the manifestation of the Master's redemptive mystery.

4. Whoever does not identify with Christ, identifies with his enemy, because by despising the Savior, man also becomes an enemy of salvation not only for him, but also for his other brothers, since, for them, he it becomes an impediment to faith. Whoever is ashamed of the Savior, denies his own salvation, rejects the Father's merciful offer. In other words, he despises God as a whole.

I do these things because I love you
