The Resurrection of Jesus is not a subjective invention of His disciples. It was not the disciples who decided to continue with Jesus, inventing a lie to make themselves available to her. It wasn't them who one day discovered that they were changed as men and should pass this on to other people. It’s impossible to act like that! They feared the leaders of the Jews and the power of Rome. Furthermore, Jesus was suspended on the tree as one cursed by Yahweh, according to the Sanhedrin. His disciples were cowards, weak, clear traitors in Judas Iscariot and Peter, as well as in the others who decided to follow their usual lives, disillusioned and no longer happy. The Resurrection is something extremely superior to human capacity, it happened in God himself, and is therefore historically proven by the empty tomb, by the appearances of Jesus himself and by the testimony of Holy Scripture. It is an objective fact in Jesus, who, in his humanity, was glorified to glorify us. Certainly, in each disciple it was a subjective fact, because for this, Jesus appeared to them, confirming them in the faith.
5. The initiative for faith in the resurrection did not come from the disciples, but from Jesus himself. He came to meet everyone, gave them His Holy Spirit and sent them on a mission. The disciples were not encouraged, but they were encouraged by the truth of the resurrection, by the Resurrected One himself. Only the presence of the Resurrected Jesus, through the gift of the Holy Spirit, could destroy the fear existing in the disciples, make them passionate about the Lord and the mission, courageous fighters against the evils of the world, without fear, facing the Sanhedrin and Rome, leaving everything behind. that they had, even creating a family, because of the evangelizing mission. Only the Resurrected Jesus could, in fact, make His disciples capable of even giving their lives for the cause of the Kingdom of God.
